Sign Up for Our Employee Learning Week Committee!

Help the Metro DC ATD Chapter to promote employee learning! Join the Employee Learning Week (ELW) Committee!

We need a few chapter members to assist us with the development of a few events that will highlight learning and development during 2016 Employee Learning Week- December 5-9, 2016.

Employee Learning Week is an awareness campaign highlighting the important connection between learning and achieving organizational results. Training is more important now than ever before. The growing skills gap and increased need to compete in today's economy require organizations to develop a knowledgeable and highly skilled workforce.

The ELW Planning Committee will oversee the planning and execution of 2-3 events for chapter members during the annual event that showcase learning in the talent development community. Committee members will:

  • Participate in a total of five monthly virtual monthly committee calls to provide guidance and support in event planning and implementation
  • Oversee the planning and execution of a total of 4 events, including one webinar, a week-long learning challenge competition, a panel discussion, and a professional development workshop
