Interested in finding out more about the Metro DC ATD's Instructional Design Community of Practice?

Are you -

  • Responsible for creating effective and performance-based learning?
  • Interested in connecting with other instructional designers to share best practices, experiences, and discuss common challenges to enhance your skills?
  • Just starting a career in instructional design? Excited to learn about new developments in the field?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, join us at our next meeting!

The goal of the Instructional Design Community of Practice is to provide practitioners with a community of peers and a safe space to explore challenges, ideas, and experiences; and to enhance their skills. We welcome all instructional design practitioners from beginners to experts to come together and explore opportunities to:

  • Build a network of peers and experts in the field
  • Stay at the forefront of the field by exploring new learning technologies, models, and tools
  • Refine skills with challenge sessions on topics such as building effective simulations, brainstorming solutions to common challenges, and many more.

To best serve you and our emerging community, we want your feedback on what topics you are interested in exploring at our events. Click this link to complete a one question survey and share your thoughts.

Always feel free to contact the ID CoP Leaders, Robert Jordan, Izabela Solosi, and Natasha Roberts at cop_instructional_design@dcatd.org.

And don’t forget to keep up-to-date with CoP events on the Metro DC ATD Event Calendar.
