The Metro DC Chapter of ATD has developed a set of strategic goals which are used to inform chapter decisions and processes. The Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that the chapter meets the intent of these goals to best serve our membership and the larger constituency of learning and development professionals.
2011-2015 Strategic Goals
The Metro DC Chapter of ATD shall:
Maintain financial viability.
Enhance the DC ATD brand in the metropolitan Washington, DC area.
Attract, develop, and retain a diverse and active base of constituents (members and non-members).
Provide products and services that meet the needs of the Chapter’s constituents.
Develop strategic partnerships which enhance the Chapter’s visibility and provide opportunities to our constituents.
Advance the Workplace Learning and Performance (WLP) profession.
Optimize Chapter systems and operations.
Attract, develop, and retain engaged volunteers.
These annual reports reflect the Metro DC Chapter of ATD’s increasing emphasis on providing programming and networking initiatives to enrich our members’ professional and career development.
