    Examples of Work

    • Collaborates with Senate Member, Committee and Support offices to identify training need, then creates content and instruction that best fits the needs of the learners on the team. Delivers content; facilitates conversations; recommends exercises and activities that meet training and development goals.

    • Conducts engaging performance skills training (communication, interpersonal skills, leadership, etc.) for Senate staff in a classroom or via online methods such as webinar or video conference using varied formats including workshops, one-on-one coaching and/or facilitation.

    • Creates documentation and materials that support performance development training.


    Minimum Qualifications

    • Thorough knowledge of Adult Learning Theory
    • Thorough knowledge of best practices of and experience with Instructional Design for classroom learning
    • Demonstrable application of Experiential Learning
    • Practiced Facilitation Skills
    • Able to deliver training both in a classroom environment and virtually with remote participants
    • Able to work harmoniously and effectively with others
    • Able to work under pressure
    • Able to manage multiple assignments and prioritize time spent on each

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Understanding of best practices of Organizational Development
    • Understanding of best practices of Instructional Design for online learning
