Reports to: Director of Marketing
Commitment: Approximately 10 hours a month
Purpose: Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to support strategy & execution of the chapter’s social media communications
Responsibilities
- Assist Director of Marketing with managing social media planning for execution of marketing strategies
- Work closely with Director of Marketing to recommend and develop appropriate communications materials to support chapter initiatives
- Assist in creating event graphics for social media
- Plan and maintain a calendar of communication activities
- Attend planning meetings on an as needed basis
Qualifications
- Demonstrated use of technology and social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Canva)
- Ability to complete projects with established timeframes and budgets
- Ability to delegate tasks and monitor follow-through
- Ability to receive and respond to creative direction
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail are a must
