Reports to: Director of Marketing

Commitment: Approximately 10 hours a month

Purpose: Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to support strategy & execution of the chapter’s social media communications

Responsibilities

  • Assist Director of Marketing with managing social media planning for execution of marketing strategies
  • Work closely with Director of Marketing to recommend and develop appropriate communications materials to support chapter initiatives
  • Assist in creating event graphics for social media
  • Plan and maintain a calendar of communication activities
  • Attend planning meetings on an as needed basis

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated use of technology and social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Canva)
  • Ability to complete projects with established timeframes and budgets
  • Ability to delegate tasks and monitor follow-through
  • Ability to receive and respond to creative direction
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail are a must
