2024 Metro DC Chapter ATD Mentoring Program is Accepting Registrations and Applications!

The Metro DC Mentoring Program Coordinators are busy planning this year’s Mentoring Program. This year will have some enhancements to make the experience better for the participants. We have also incorporated some changes based on feedback from past year’s program participants. The Program will also be open to non-Metro DC members for an additional fee. Once you register, you will receive an intake form to complete based on how you desire to participate (mentor vs mentee). The Program will meet beginning in March 2024 through January 2025 (the tentative session dates are below) and will alternate between session and one-on-one meetings with the mentoring partner.

If you have more than five years of experience in talent development…

we will match you with someone newer to the field. The relationship you build with your mentor program partner will give you the opportunity to enhance your skills and grow your leadership capacity. You and your partner will leverage your experience, guidance, and coaching to support your partner’s professional growth. Your partner will likely offer new insights, perspectives, innovative approaches, and access to a new talent network.

If you have less than five years of experience in talent development…

we will match you with someone with more than five years in the field. The relationship you build with your mentor program partner will give you the opportunity to explore your professional goals and plan pathways toward achieving them. You and your partner will build a relationship with shared expectations set early in the process. Your partner will offer experience, guidance, coaching, and access to a professional network that will help you grow your professional capacity more efficiently and effectively than going it alone.

Important Stuff to Know

Registration will be limited to 24 participants.

There will be six (6) sessions held on:

March 2, 2024, 10:00-1230 pm (Mentoring Program Kick Off) - Virtual
April 11, 2024, 6:30-8:30 pm - Virtual
June 13, 2024, 6:30-8:30 pm - Virtual
August 8, 2024, 6:30-8:30 pm - Virtual
October 10, 2024, 6:30-8:30 pm - Virtual
January 11, 2025, 10:00 am -12:30 pm (Capstone) - In Person

In addition to these meetings you will be expected to meet separately with your Mentor in the following months: May, July, September, November.

Mentee Registration

Member – $75.00
Non-Member – $175.00
