Operations & Development | Vice President of Knowledge Management

Overview: The VP Knowledge Management & Governance leads the chapter's governance, operational continuity, onboarding, and knowledge management practices. This role is responsible for supporting sustainable board operations, leadership transitions, governance documentation, and institutional continuity across chapter administrations.

Reports to: President

Term: 1 Year

Time Commitment: 15-25 hours per month

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the development and maintenance of governance, onboarding, operational continuity, and knowledge management practices for the chapter.
  • Oversee board onboarding, offboarding, leadership transition, and continuity documentation processes.
  • Manage governance documentation, board repositories, operational records, and system access standards to support organizational continuity recommendations, and board.
  • Provide governance reporting, meeting documentation, and operational oversight related to chapter systems, filings, contracts, and administrative processes.
  • Coordinate annual governance reviews, operational continuity recommendations, and board documentation updates.

Board Terms / Participation

  • One-year board term with eligibility for extension in alignment with chapter bylaws.
  • Attend at least two (2) chapter events per quarter. 
  • Participate in board collaboration, governance reviews, and portfolio reporting activities.
